Pineapple Paper Factory and Pineapple Farm
There is a famous pineapple factory in Pranburi where you can see how to make paper out of the leaves of pineapples and you get a chance to make the paper yourself. Until recently workers carted away and burned the long serrated leaves that cluttered the ground in between the neat rows of the pineapple plants. Thanks to entrepreneurial spirit, those unwanted leaves are now made into paper. The thick, handmade paper is patterned with flecks of fiber and is used as gift-wrap, to make boxes, photo albums and even picture frames.
Tourists can have over 3 hours of sightseeing tours by boat to absorb the scenic views of nature, the pineapple plantations, fishing villages and local wildlife and bird species.

An elephant with passengers can travel over any terrain, however steep or treacherous. This was the most efficient form of land transport in Thailand until the arrival of the railway and the automobile. In the jungle and mountain areas today it is still the most desirable and the safest way to go. The elephant has a broad wooden seat strapped onto its back, tied with heavy rope. You sit on this seat while the mahout, or trainer, guides him along. All you have to do is hold on and enjoy the ride.
The elephant camp is located 3km west of Hua Hin. On arrival at the elephant camp you can buy bunches of bananas to feed to the elephants. You can watch the elephants taking their daily bath in the stream. Next you will watch the elephants demonstrate logging techniques used in the jungle.
